He is the CEO and Founder of Moven, a successful mobile start-up, which has raised over US$24 million to date, with the world's first mobile, downloadable bank account, available in the United States, Canada, UK, Indonesia, and New Zealand. He is currently working on his new book - Bank 4.0 for a late 2018 release

    Reinventing Banking – BANK 4.0

Banks have undergone a significant shift. The most efficient credit risk models aren’t owned by banks anymore. The best investment advice is coming from algorithms and robo-advisors that can adapt your portfolio in real-time as markets shift. Assets, identities, and transactions are being transmitted on blockchains, tangles, and hashes that make old payment networks look obsolete and unsafe. Banking has been blown apart. The banking system of tomorrow is being built from first principles today – in the same way Elon Musk built SpaceX and Steve Jobs designed the iPhone. Just ask yourself, if we were building the banking system today from scratch with all the technology and knowledge we have, would you end up with Bank branches that require a signature on a piece of paper before issuing you a passbook or a chequebook? No way. Bank 4.0 is about the banking system that we’re building today for tomorrow.

We’re the neutral 3rd party facilitating a collaboration amongst Canadian financial institutions while ensuring the needs of privacy and security are met. We’re helping banks collaborate with each other, we’re collaborating with them, and we’re helping other fintechs engage with the banks backed by our security and controls. By doing this, we can limit fraudsters’ impact across organizations, effectively creating a Canadian Shield against fraud.

Max & Nick will walk the audience through a platform beyond the traditional analytics generally limited by narrow data sets. Discover the “Art of the Possible” by using highest quality cross-FI data, powered by accurate AI models & ML application, further amplified by human intelligence that can detect anomalies with remarkable precision.
